Connecting Superhive as a Remote Repository in Blender

Since version 4.2 it has been possible to configure remote repositories in Blender. Superhive customers are able to add Superhive as one of those remote repositories, thereby enabling convenient installation and updating of valid extensions.

On all product pages in the sidebar, an "Extension Type" will be shown if applicable. Products which show an extension type there will be installable and updatable via the remote repository connection.

After purchasing a product which is a valid extension, the receipt page will show an option to drag and drop your files directly into Blender.

Instructions for installing the extension will be on that receipt page. Once the extension has been dragged into Blender, a prompt will appear asking to add Superhive as a remote repository. Doing so will allow for one-click installation of any past and future extensions purchased from Superhive as well as the updating of those extensions without leaving Blender.

The following video illustrates dragging an extension into Blender and configuring the remote repository for the first time:

Once Superhive has been added as a remote repository in Blender, all previously purchased extensions will appear in Blender with an option to install in one click. See this video for a demonstration:
