Publicized Coupons

Offering coupons deals is a well proven method to increase conversions and boost sales. Customers love getting a deal! With the Publicize Coupon feature, it is possible to make these discount offers discoverable by potential customers.

In order for customers to use a coupon, they must first know it exists! This means someone needs to tell them about it. By publishing a coupon, it will be made visible on the deals page on Superhive so that potential buyers may see it and consider the offer. Customers can browse the entire catalog of coupons in search of deals which appeal to them.

Why Publish a Coupon?

Public Coupons are a powerful way to:

Boost visibility for specific products.
Run promotions on all items in your shop.
Encourage upgrades (e.g., past customers moving to higher-tier products).
Promote full versions to buyers who previously purchased a bundle.

Example Use Cases

Launching a holiday promotion to attract new buyers.
Offering a discount on premium items for previous bundle customers.
Driving attention to newly released products.
Boosting sales during slow seasons.
Increasing visibility for lesser known products.

Important note: Coupons will not work for products which are currently on sale. For published coupons, the product will still appear to customers as part of the deal but will display as "ineligible".

How to Publicize a Coupon

Go to your Creator Dashboard.

Start creating a coupon.

To make it public, check the Publicize box.

Upload a featured image for your Deal (required for publication, follow these instructions for good featured images).

Write a deal description in the Description field (customers will see this so make it clear and compelling!)

Unique descriptions are recommended to make the deal stand out. In the absence of a custom description, a generic default description will be displayed.

Tips

Deals are sorted in reverse chronological order by creation date.
Excessive publication of redundant deals is not permitted. Coupons are monitored by staff and Superhive may intervene at times to ensure the public coupon catalog remains fair and useful to customers.
Published coupons disappear from the deals page when they expire or when max uses are reached.
Each publicized coupon has its own unique URL: /deals/creator_shop_slug+coupon_code
