Account Security
Your account security is important to us. We take steps to secure your information, but it's important that you do the same. Here are some best practices to follow that will help keep your Superhive (formerly Blender Market) account (and your other accounts, too) safe.
Select a Unique Password
Choosing a unique password for each site that you log in to will prevent a compromised password on one account from affecting your other accounts.
How do you keep track of these unique passwords when there are so many passwords to keep track of? We recommend using a password manager. Some browsers or operating systems have them built-in, but there are also apps and browser add-ons that you can download (e.g., LastPass) to help you juggle it all.
Select a Complex Password
Selecting a complex password will help prevent someone from hacking into your account.
The easiest way to select a complex password is to allow your password manager to generate one for you. If you prefer to create your passwords yourself, here are some tips:
- Make it at least 15 characters.
- Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Avoid dictionary words and don't use keyboard substitutions (e.g., 3 instead of E, 5 instead of S).
Stay Alert for Phishing Attempts
As the Superhive Market grows, we've seen an increase in phishing attempts. These messages are designed to appear legitimate, but their primary goal is to trick you into clicking on unsafe links or sharing sensitive information. A few things to keep in mind:
- Only open links or files from people you recognize and trust.
- Any genuine Superhive communication will show an “admin” badge next to the sender’s name in your Inbox.
- We will never ask for your payout details.
- If a message asks you to reply so it can “generate a secure page,” it’s fraudulent.
Here is an example of the Admin badge you'll see in your Superhive inbox:
If you ever receive something that feels off, you can report it directly from your Inbox. Open the message, click the three-bar menu above it, and choose “Escalate to Admin.” This helps us review the account, block the sender, and keep everyone’s inbox safer.

We’re constantly working to stop spam and phishing on the platform, and your reports help us move quickly when something slips through.
